DEATH GROUND – ORIGINAL POETRY WRITTEN BY RALPH FORNOLES 4/8/07

YOU WILL DIE

THIS IS A PRECURSOR TO THE NEXT PINO PER DIEM:

I saw him on his sickbed

And with no hesitation, he told me he was good as dead.

I could see it too; his eyes all red,

his blood long bled.

But what my eyes didn’t realize

is what I will now rationalize…

Yes, he may be dying…

So are we.  Not just me,

all of humanity.

DO WE HAVE THAT URGENCY?

That we are on our mental sickbed?

Desperation is not that sensation that helps us

sleep at night…

MY DIAMOND – ORIGINAL POETRY BY RALPH FORNOLES 11/20/05

DIAMOND'S ARE FOREVER

They’re all fine

My prizes and shrine

And aside in due time

Who’s to say you won’t be all mine?

I’ve found coal in my hole

How profound is the rock in which I found

Look at the diamond she has become.

I’ve succumb

to such disparity in the past

now I want to make it last?

I guess its progress

a process

to remind her that I treat her like nothing less

then what she is, a princess.

Who refuses her prince?!

Ever since,

he turned to a frog,…

My Wife and Mistress – Original Poetry written by Ralph Fornoles 8/17/09

Wife / Mistress

I may be writing about her,

but I’m married to this.

Ignorance is bliss,

and when you look this over,

you’ll realize that this is my mistress.

My wife doesn’t care about my adultery

Since 21, I’ve abused her body.

I met her at the beach,

and was already abusive on the our first date.

I couldn’t wait!

So, yes we eloped-

Now she’s there to get smacked when girls say no.

And I don’t know

Why do you stick around?

That was silly, it’s not like they have a …

PLASTIC BAND MAN

A reminder, if you will, cherish your freedom

A reminder, if you will, cherish your freedom

I wear these bands

right next to my hands

people always ask what it stands

for. Well its for all the pain I withstand,

not to mention the rain I can’t stand,

but it’s my window.

And when things don’t go

The way I want it to go

I cut them off and wear new ones.

the pink just made me think

the green was too mean,

but say hello

to the yellows

and the blues

Remember the sadness that rang true.…

AMBIGUITY – ORIGINAL POETRY WRITTEN BY RALPH FORNOLES – 3/4/05

THE MORE I KNOW THE MORE I DON'T

THE MORE I KNOW THE MORE I DON'T

Off the top of my head,

I have a million ideas that spread,

throughout the rest of my body.

Little old me,

that thinks of one infinity,

and the endless possibilities.

And for all the days I feel I can do it,

there is an equal amount of days I feel like i can’t do shit.

They go up and down,

and all around.

I don’t even know what else this is about.

Why my mind has so much clout;

over something

THE SONG – ORIGINAL POETRY BY RALPH FORNOLES – 2/7/05

This is inspired by the song “She Will Be Loved” by Maroon 5 – It reminds me of a girl I once lost. Music is a gift and a curse!

Beauty queen of only 18

Beauty queen of only 18

It took the sound of the song

to rightly remember all the wrong.

My resonating rear

of hearing things otherwise in my ear.

It happens all too often…

Then again, I bounce back

move on,

until once more I hear the song.

If only I can cheat,

take the song off repeat

instead of hearing …
