NOWHERE TO GO BUT MOVE FORWARD

NOWHERE TO GO BUT MOVE FORWARD

He said, “FROM AFAR”

His advise was up to par;

All this could be fixed with my car.

Now we ride…

On the highway of loneliness,

I’m only one exit away from my house,

or,

take a detour

get in 5th and keep going.

It’s me knowing

that it’s more than just a road trip.

The cross country

of you and me.

So I let it go

on the other side,

different directions,

gain reflection

in my rear view mirror…
